About Stopping Smoking PDF Print E-mail

Nicolite is a low level or ‘soft’ power laser which is used to induce a bio-stimulative effect on target areas of the body related to addiction. In addition, natural chemicals in the body, called endorphins, are released as a result of this stimulation. These chemicals are involved in the reduction of pain, stress levels and increase circulation and energy.

This effect helps to combat the body’s need for nicotine and naturally reduce physical symptoms. During treatment, laser energy is applied to points on the hands, ears and face. A mild warming or tingling sensation may be felt by the patient, although some experience no sensation but do feel very relaxed during and post treatment.

...Clinically Proven...

Multiple double-blinded clinical studies have proven a high level of efficacy for this laser treatment. In one such study at the Middlesex University of 340 patients, 70% of those treated with the laser stopped smoking. Clinical results show that Nicolite treatments are up to 6 times more effective than nicotine patches in helping patients quit smoking.

Nicolite is very effective in assisting patients who are serious about quitting smoking.  Successful smoking cessation treatment requires mental determination and will power in addition to the Nicolite Treatment Program.

Advantages of Nicolite

The Nicolite system uses no drugs to replace nicotine, but helps the body naturally. The effects can be dramatic; in some cases within one week it has totally eliminated the craving for Nicotine. The Nicolite treatment has no harmful side effects, although many patients feel a pleasant comforting feeling of “well being”, this is caused by the natural release of endorphins in the body and is part of the Nicolite process within the patient’s body. Nicotine patches and gums are designed to slowly wean the patient off nicotine over several weeks or in some cases months. The Nicolite way does not require any further nicotine in the body, has immediate effects, and can reduce smoking to a manageable level within 1 week.

Cost effective and Attractive...

A person smoking 20 cigarettes per day will spend approx £1825 per annum on their habit. When compared to less effective methods such as nicotine patches or gum nicolite offers excellent value for money to the patient. The Nicolite method of smoking cessation does not rely on weeks and weeks of nicotine substitution, there are no drugs, no needles, no itching, no pain, no withdrawals, just simply the science of light gently reducing the nicotine craving within the body and leaving a pleasant feeling of well being...

I was quite sceptical when I first tried the Low Level Laser system to give up smoking, after just 3 treatments I have not smoked since and that was 3 years ago! The treatment was quick, painless and very relaxing, I cannot understand why everyone who wants to quit smoking hasn't tried it.

Thank you Nicolite; since my treatment I have now been a non-smoker for over 6 months, I used to smoke 40 cigarettes a day. Stopping smoking has changed my life, food tastes fantastic again and as a pensioner the money savings have been a real godsend.
